Baptism

We believe that the local church is an institution of divine appointment and is composed of professing, baptized believers in Christ; who are voluntarily joined together and meet at stated times to worship, to fellowship, to proclaim the Gospel, to disciple new believers, to observe the ordinances (believer's water baptism and the Lord's Supper), and when necessary to administer and accept discipline (Heb. 10:25; Acts 2:41-47; Mt. 28:20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; Mt. 18:17).

We hold to the belief that water baptism is a “public announcement” that God has done something wonderful in your life in saving you by His grace.

If you have trusted Christ as your personal Savior,  and desire to make this known by means of a public commitment, as God commands, you will want to pursue believers' baptism, water baptism. AT CBC we have baptism services several times each year, during our regular worship service.
