Morning Book:
Mama Bear Apologetics: Empowering Your Kids to Challenge Cultural Lies Hillary Morgan Ferrer, General Editor

This books hashtag is #ROARLIKEAMOTHER

The problem with lies is that they often don’t sound like lies.  They seem harmless.  So what’s a Mama Bear to do when her kids seem be absorbing the culture’s lies uncritically?  This mom-to-mom guide will equip you to teach your kids how to form their own biblical beliefs about what is true and what is false.

Are you ready to answer the rallying cry, “Mess with my kids and I will demolish your arguments?”  This book is great for Mama Bears and Grandma Bears and even Aunts to begin to raise their voices to protect their kids and grandkids, by teaching us all how to think through and address the issues head-on, yet with gentleness and respect.

Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11 on June  15 and 22, July 13 and 20; and August 3.

Use the button below to buy your own copy of the book. We will send you an email with the reading schedule, including an assignment to complete for the first night.  You’ll need to read the first four chapters or Part One.

Babysitting available to those who sign up in advance.

Evening Book:
Jungle Pilot:  The gripping story of the life and witness of Nate Saint, martyred missionary to EcuadorRussell Hitt, author

The story of the amazingly creative and thoughtful missionary, Nate Saint and wife, Marg is here recounted.  He was a pilot in the early days of aviation, writer, inventor and handyman but above all lived all out for the Lord.  You won’t be able to put this book down as you learn of his many adventures in the name of Christ.  Of course his life was shortened by his martyrdom at the hands of the Auca Indians in Ecuador.   His own wonderful writing tells much of the story.   Have we said you won’t want to put this book down?

Tuesday evenings, from 7-8:30 on June  15 and 22, July 13 and 20; and August 3.
