COVID-19  Updates

Church family,

On Tuesday, August 11, the City of Omaha passed a mask mandate requiring “all individuals age five and older to wear a mask when they are in an indoor space that is open to the public unless six feet of separation from others can be achieved.” This includes our time of worship at Community Bible Church.

To facilitate those wishing to worship in person and to abide by the mandate, we have lessened the number of attendees in each worship service to 75 in the worship center and 30 in room 201. This means you are not required to wear a mask during the worship service, as households will be far enough apart so that masks will not be necessary once you are seated. You should wear a face covering as you enter and exit the building.. Worship services will be at 8am, 9:30am and 11am.

Seat reservations are still required through our website so you will know if a worship service is full.   As you come to worship, please keep three seats between you and the next household.

Live streaming will continue for each of our worship services.

Sunday School, Youth and Adult Bible Classes are offered during at 9:30 each Sunday. Nursery and Discovery will be offered  during the 9:30 & 11am services.

As always, we wish to respect the individual choices people make and recognize that we will decide differently. And that’s alright. We love our church family and we are attempting to make decisions that will serve and benefit the body of Christ, while recognizing the governmental authority God has placed over us. May all our actions and attitudes bring glory to our God and Savior.

Thank you for your gracious spirit during these days.
