Marilynn Lester – Kiddie Kollege Director

Marilynn has a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. She has had six years experience teaching music in the public schools on the elementary level which included the primary grades.

Marilynn has worked in the AWANA Clubs at the church for about 15 years and started the Sparks Club which is for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. She continues to teach private music lessons to all age groups. Her goal in early childhood education is to foster curiosity and a love for learning in the young child which can be carried throughout life.

Marilynn and her husband, Doyle, love serving on short term missions trips abroad. Marilynn has had the opportunity to teach college students overseas about teaching preschoolers. Doyle and Marilynn also love to spend time with their children and grandchildren.
