Greg Zielke joined the CBC staff in 1993. He is the chairman of the music department at Grace University and holds a doctorate in choral conducting from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He also has a master of music education degree in voice and choral from Wichita State University and a bachelor of music degree in music education from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. In addition to his work at Grace University, Zielke has been conductor for the annual Voices of Omaha performance of Handel’s “Messiah” since 1996. Zielke also has served as repertoire and standards committee chairman for collegiate choirs for the Nebraska Choral Directors Association and has served as the artistic director and conductor of the Omaha Symphonic Chorus, the official chorus of the Omaha Symphony. He and his wife, Tami, have two adult daughters.
