Flying Strong

When was the last time you shared the gospel with someone?  Perhaps it was this week, or even today, but for far too many of us, it’s been a while since we shared our faith with an unbeliever.  To help us become better at evangelism, the CBC Elder Board formally launched the Flying Strong ministry on April 1, 2010.  This is a two-year ministry that will help us change from being primarily congregationally-minded to more of a community-minded church. Flying Strong gives churches a strategy to follow to begin the process of educating, equipping, and motivating the church for evangelism in their community.  Our goal is to equip everyone at CBC on how to share their faith and look for opportunities to reach out to unbelievers in their daily life.

Sound like a challenge?  It is!  But with the power of the Holy Spirit, we will become a church that is known for telling others about the Good News and then discipling these new believers so they, too, tell others about Jesus Christ.  Contact the church office for more details on Flying Strong!
